The instant petition has been filed for a direction to the police authorities before whom the representation dated 07.06.2025 (Annexure P1) filed by the petitioner, is pending.

Notice of motion to the respondents.

Since advance notice has already been served upon the State, Mr. Eklavya Darshi, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, and waives service. 4.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the culprits have threatened and physically assaulted the petitioner in his field and they also made attempts to take possession of his land. The petitioner filed representation dated 07.06.2025 (Annexure P1), respectively, before the respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala. According to petitioner, no action has been taken as yet. Criminal Misc. No. M-46317 of 2025 dated 07.06.2025 (Annexure P1) be given to the concerned authorities and the instant writ petition be disposed of.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to pass a speaking order and decide the representation of the petitioner representation dated 07.06.2025 (Annexure P1), as per law, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.

It is, however, made clear that no finding with regard to merits of the allegations is being recorded vide instant order, and the police authorities shall be at liberty to take an independent decision with regard to contents of the representation.
