The prayer in the instant criminal writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for the issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.2 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No.5 to 9. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that respondents No.5 and 6 visited stamp vendor shop of the petitioner and took away his laptop and other documents. They also humiliated him and caused hurt. He moved a representation (Annexure P-2) but no action has been taken so far. Even on the complaint of respondent No.5, an FIR has been registered against the present petitioner.

Keeping in view the contention of learned State counsel, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to take a decision on the aforesaid representation submitted on behalf of the petitioner. If the petitioner would still not satisfy, he would be at liberty to exhaust legal remedies available to him by moving an appropriate application before the Illaqa Magistrate in terms of Sakiri Vasu vs. State of U.P., (2008) 2 SCC 409.
