The prayer embodied in this writ petition appertains to issuance of directions upon the respondents to make corrections in the petitioner's date of birth and in his mother's name, as recorded in his Matriculation Detailed Mark Sheet issued on 19.02.2020, and in the Senior Secondary Examination Detailed Mark Sheet issued on 25.01.2023.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, despite the petitioner submitting the representation dated 24.07.2025 (Annexure P-9), along with the relevant documents, to the respondents for carrying out the corrections (supra), no decision has yet been taken thereon. 3.

This Court posed a specific query to the learned counsel for the petitioner as to whether the petitioner has applied to the respondents for carrying out the corrections (supra) under the apposite Rules and DEVINDER YADAV 2025.08.25 17:26 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-24554-2025 Regulations. In response, he responded that the representation dated 24.07.2025, which is accompanied by requisite supporting documents, is sufficient for the respondents to take a decision with regard to carrying out the corrections.

At this stage, without going into the merits of this writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to take a final decision upon the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2025 (Annexure P-9) within four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

Disposed of accordingly.
