ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari seeking setting-aside of impugned order dated 10.10.2022 (annexure P-1) vide which petitioner has been suspended.

Learned state counsel objects to the maintainability of the writ petition. He points out that petitioner has parallelly also filed an appeal against the impugned order under Rule 9 of the Haryana Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 2016. The said appeal has not yet though been taken up for hearing. 4.

In the premise, it appears that the writ petition has been filed prematurely without waiting for the outcome of the alternative remedy, which the petitioner has already invoked.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of with an expectation that pending appeal shall be taken up on priority and decided within a period of six weeks from the date of petitioner approaching withweb-print of this order.

In the event, the impugned order dated 10.10.2022 (Annexure P-1), vide which the petitioner was contemplated to be suspended, has not been given effect as on date, the same shall then be put on hold until passing of the appellate order.
