Mr. Aditya Sharda, AAG, Punjab and Mr. Aman Sharma, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and respondent No.2 and 3, respectively.

Reply by way of affidavit of Mr. Shammi Kumar Singla, Divisional Engineer, Lining Division No.1, Punjab Water Resources Management and Development Corporation Ltd., Ferozepur, annexing order dated 26.07.2019 filed today in the Court, is taken on record.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Mr. Ramanpreet Singh, Sub Divisional Engineer, Lining Division, Ferozepur, submits that according to the respondents, admittedly PANKAJ BAWEJA 2019.12.20 15:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Ciourt, Chandigarh

COCP No.3679 of 2019 -2there is amount of 22,57,321/- due towards the petitioner, same would be paid to the petitioner within six weeks from today. He further submits that there is vigilance inquiry pending, as a result of which amount of 16,18,466/- is not paid.

In view of above, the contempt petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to avail remedies in accordance with law for redressal of surviving grievance. [AVNEESH JHINGAN] JUDGE December 20, 2019
