***** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr. P.C. for directing respondents No.2 and 3 to handover investigation in case FIR No.599 dated 23.09.2022, registered under Sections 302, 323, 506 read with Section 34 of IPC, at Police Station,City Palwal, District Palwal to some Senior Police Official not below the rank of Superintendent of Police or Special Investigation Team or Crime Branch, Chandigarh. 2.
At the outset, learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Kailash Chand Singh, states that grievance of the petitioner quainaction of official respondents on the complaint stands mitigated. She points out that pursuant to his complaint, a preliminary investigation was carried out and it has been found that deceased died due to an unfortunate death caused by lightning during bad weather. In the premise, cancellation report is under preparation and will be filed in due course before the competent Court. 3.
Being so, no further proceedings are required before this Court. In case, complainant is aggrieved qua cancellation report, he is at liberty to take recourse to further proceedings before the competent authority/court, in accordance with law. 4.
Disposed of accordingly.
