(ORAL) The prayer in the present petition under Section 483(3) r/w Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 is for cancellation of bail granted to respondent No.2/accused vide order dated 12.12.2024 (Annexure P-2) in case FIR No.49 dated 13.05.2019 registered under Sections 302 IPC and Section 25, 24, 27, 54, 59 of Arms Act at Police Station Kiratpur Sahib, District Rupnagar, Punjab.

None has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. The learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Khushal Singh submits that respondent No.2/accused has passed away on 10.05.2026. The photocopy of the death certificate dated 25.05.2026 is taken on record.
