***** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of FIR No.0357 dated 18.12.2017 under Sections 323, 341, 427, 506, 148 and 149 IPC registered with Police Station Tripti Patiala, District Patiala.

On 19.02.2020, the following order was passed:- "Ms. Monika Jalota, DAG, Punjab, is directed to file status of investigation in FIR No.0357 dated 18.12.2017, registered at Police Station Tripri Patiala, District Patiala under Sections 323/341/427/506/148/149 IPC. Counsel for the petitioner undertakes to supply requisite sets of paper book to the learned State counsel, during the course of the day. Adjourned to 13.05.2020".

Pursuant thereto, a status report dated 05.12.2020 was submitted by way of affidavit of Saurav Jindal, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, City II, Patiala in compliance to the order dated 19.02.2020 passed by this Court on behalf of respondent No.1/State.

As per the aforesaid status report, a cancellation report was moved by the Police Station Tripuri, Patiala and had been forwarded to the Court of the concerned Illaqa Magistrate, Patiala by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala.

Today, the learned counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Lakhwinder Singh, informs the Court that on 11.09.2021, the cancellation report has been accepted.

In view of the above, nothing survives in this petition. The same is hereby disposed of as infructuous.
