***** SANDEEP M MOUDGIL, J.(ORAL) The jurisdiction of this Court h has been invoked under Section n 483 of BNSS S for grant of interim bail to the e petitioner in FIR No.87, dated d 20.10.2022 ( Annexure P-1), under Sections 4 460, 312, 396, 506, 342, 120-B, , 201, 148, 149 9 of IPC and Section 25/54/59 o of Arms Act, registered at Police e Station Hari ike, District Tarn Taran on account of the marriage of f petitioner's d daughter which is scheduled for 1 12.10.2024.

  On the asking of the Court, Mr. Malkiat Singh, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and informs the Court that the marriage of the petitioner's daughter is scheduled for 12.10.2024 and all the arrangements for the marriage of his daughter are to be managed by him. Moreover, there are some rites and rituals in the marriage which are to be performed by the petitioner.

Without adverting to the merits of the case and in view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the petitioner is directed to be released on interim bail w.e.f. 09.10.2024, subject to his furnishing personal/surety bonds to the satisfaction of trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate. It is however, made clear that the petitioner shall surrender to the Jail authorities, concerned on or before 14.10.2024, by 05:00 p.m. The present petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms.
