Heard.
This is application seeking transfer of the divorce petition filed by the respondent at Ludhiana to District Judge/Family Court at Jalandhar, where other two cases between the parties including petition filed under Section 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 and another petition under Section 125 Code of Criminal Procedure are also pending.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that applicant is having old parents and is unable to travel distance of about 70 kilometres on each and every date of hearing, as such, the divorce petition filed by the respondent be also transferred to Jalandhar.

TA-598-2018 -2The parties to the petition are pursuing various litigations relating to their matrimonial dispute in Courts at Jalandhar and Ludhiana. It will be in the interest of justice that all pending cases between them are tried and decide at one place. This will avoid inconvenience to both the parties as all the cases filed by the parties can be taken up on one date of hearing and this will avoid their repeated rounds to Court. In view of above discussion, this petition is allowed. Petition titled as "Charanpreet Singh Vs. Amritdeep Kaur" pending before the Court of Additional District Judge, Ludhiana is ordered to be transferred to the Court of District Judge/Family Court at Jalandhar for further proceedings in accordance with law.
