Advocate General, Haryana. **** SHEEL NAGU, CHIEF JUSTICE (Oral) The petitioner apprehends his arrest in respect of offence in FIR No. 422 dated 03.09.2024 punishable under Sections 22-C and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 registered at Police Station Sadar Yamuna Nagar, where 14940 tablets of Diphenoxylate HCL containing 963.63 grams of narcotic drug were recovered from the possession of main co-accused Satwinder Singh @ Satti and Harjinder Singh alias Kaka.

On a query made by this Court on 04.10.2024 as regards call details, the State of Haryana has filed an affidavit dated 11.11.2024 of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Yamuna Nagar, inter-alia stating that several calls were made from the mobile phone of the petitioner from within close proximity of the place of incident. 3.

Considering the nature of the offence, custodial interrogation becomes necessary and therefore, no question for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made out. The petition stands dismissed.
