**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J.
(ORAL) 1.
The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.219 dated 22.09.2019 under Sections 406, 498-A IPC registered at Police Station Beas, District Amritsar.
2.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners would contend that the petitioners herein are none other than the parents in law of the complainant and have been falsely implicated in the matter, as the marriage that was solemnized between the son of the petitioners and the complainant was a love marriage. It is argued that in fact, petitioners and complainant-respondent No.2 had been referred to Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court so that the matter could be settled amicably between the parties, while staying arrest of petitioners. 3.
At this stage, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
CRM-M No.46962 of 2019 (O&M) -2respondent-State on instructions from ASI Balkar Singh would submit that the matter has been settled amicably between the parties and petition for quashing of the FIR based on the compromise is already pending before this Court in CRM-M No.42892 of 2020 for 15.11.2021. 4.
I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 5.
In view of the fact that the matter has been settled amicably and on the basis of the compromise, a quashing petition has already been filed, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 31.01.2020 granting interim relief to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
