(ORAL) Prayer in the writ petition is for issuing direction to respondents to realize the seniority of the petitioners by counting their past service and grant them all the consequential benefits including promotion, ACP, notional pay fixation etc. with alternative prayer of deciding representations dated 30.11.2016 and 10.10.2019 (Annexure P-4 and P-8 respectively) within a stipulated period.

Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioners, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent No.2-Director General, Information, Public Relations & Languages Department, Haryana to consider the representations dated 30.11.2016 and 10.10.2019 (Annexure P-4 and P-8 respectively) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass a speaking order thereon, failing which respondent No.2 shall be liable to pay costs of `25,000/- to the petitioners. This condition of imposing costs is only to prevent petitioners running from pillar to post and avail remedy of contempt in case of non-compliance of directions issued by this Court.
