(Oral) The appeal filed before this court was treated as a petition under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. Parties entered into a settlement which was reduced into writing and is on record. Their statements at the first motion had been recorded. Today, their statements, at the second motion stage, have been recorded separately after lapse of six months i.e. the statutory period provided under the law. As the parties have stood by their statements made on the first stage of hearing and have undertaken to abide by the terms of the settlement, this petition under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act is hereby allowed.
