I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 7.
Counsel for the parties submit that in the present case, compromise has been effected between petitioners No.1, 4 and 5 and respondent No.2 only and no compromise is effected by the complainant with petitioners No.2 and 3. Even from perusal of the statements which are part of the report submitted by the trial Court, it is evident that the complainant has entered into compromise only with petitioners No.1, 4 and
5. It has also come on record that the aforesaid compromise is genuine and has been effected without any undue influence or coercion. 8.
In view of above, nothing remains to be adjudicated further in the present case. Thus, continuation of the criminal proceedings between the parties would be a futile exercise and sheer wastage of time of the Court and thus, amount to abuse of process of law.
