This petition has been filed by the petitioner MGN Educational Trust for issuance of direction to the Court of learned Illaqa Magistrate/JMIC Jalandhar to dispose of the petition i.e. CRM-1037-2021 titled as MGN Educational Trust vs. SHO PS No.2 etc. 2.

On 28.10.2024, following order was passed:- 'The petitioner seeks issuance of directions to learned Illaqa Magistrate/Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jalandhar to dispose of his application filed under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. expeditiously preferably within a period of 4 weeks from today.

Before proceeding to issue any direction, this Court deems appropriate that status report be called for from the Presiding Officer concerned.

Registry is directed to requisition a status report from the Presiding Officer concerned, who shall also intimate as regards the tentative time period during which the application filed by the petitioner under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. is expected to be finally disposed off.
