The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to allot paddy for KMS 2023-24.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits that petitioner got electricity connection on 06.09.2023. 3.

This Court in CWP No. 20632 of 2023 alongwith connected cases decided on 10.10.2023 titled as "M/s Master Foods. vs. State of Punjab and others", in the wake of statement of learned State counsel, had directed the respondents to allot paddy to the petitioners therein who had got electricity connection on or before 02.09.2023. On being confronted with the fact that though petitioner has got connection on 06.09.2023, thus, its case is not covered by aforesaid judgment, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondents may be directed to sympathetically consider case of the petitioner. 5.

The petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondents to consider claim of the petitioner sympathetically.
