RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Present petition has been filed praying for issuance of direction to official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members from the hands of private respondents and their other associates, who are harassing and threatening the petitioner with dire consequences and are not allowing the petitioner to enter the premises of Geeta Bhawan Mandir, Arya Samaj Block, Dhuri, where petitioner is serving as Pujari since 1995. It is further prayed not to harass and implicate the petitioner in any false criminal case at the behest of the private respondents.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of his grievances, the petitioner has already moved a representation (Annexure P-4) before respondent No.1 on 17.09.2024, however, the same has not been decided as yet. Without entering upon an exercise to evaluate the evidentiary value of the documents placed on the file, I dispose of the petition with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur, District Sangrur, to look into the representation (Annexure P-4) of the petitioner and decide the same expeditiously preferably within one month from today in accordance with law.
