1. The petitioner seeks issuance of writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus so as to seek release of Ruby, Manipal, Soni and Vijender, stated to be illegally detained by respondents No.4 and 5.

2. Pursuant to directions issued on 01.10.2024 short reply by way of affidavit of Mr. Jitendra Jorwal, IAS, District Magistrate, Ludhiana has been filed. The same is taken on record. A copy of the short reply has been furnished to learned counsel opposite.

3. In reply, it has been deposed that a team headed by Tehsildar, Ludhiana had visited the spot i.e. Jawandha brick kiln situated in Village Jodha and that none of the alleged detenue was found there.

4. In view of the aforesaid report, no further directions are required to be issued.
