**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) The petitioner is seeking regular bail in FIR No. 70 dated 18.10.2017 under Sections 323, 379-B IPC registered at Police Station GRP Jind, District Jind.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not appear before the trial Court on the date fixed i.e. 28.8.2019 due to the death of his grandfather and his bail and surety bonds were cancelled and forfeited. Thereafter the petitioner surrendered before the Court below and was taken into custody on 11.10.2019 and since then he is in custody. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Vinod, submits that the petitioner has not appeared before the Court below and has rightly been taken into custody vide order dated 11.10.2019. The petitioner is in custody since 11.10.2019. The trial will take time to conclude.
