The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent No.2 to change the date of birth of the petitioner from 20.05.1988 to 20.05.1991 in the passport issued by respondent No.2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition to enable him to seek the necessary relief, however, respondent-UOI shall make a note of this petition on the application filed by the petitioner and proceed only after the petitioner supplies any cogent document or an order by the Court, declaring the correct date of birth of the petitioner, as it is very strange that the petitioner did not know about his correct date of birth from 1988 till 2023 and the earlier passport was issued to the petitioner with the date of birth of 20.05.1988, which demonstrates that the PARUL 2024.10.15 17:28 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
