The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of order dated 30.07.2021 (Annexure P-7) to the extent his name has not been included in the list of candidates promoted to the post of DSP.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Inspectors have been promoted to the post of DSP by order dated 30.07.2021 and the said order is based upon judgment dated 16.12.2014 passed by this Court in CWP No.4829 of 2011 titled as "Pardeep Singh vs. State of Punjab". The petitioner is entitled to benefit as extended by this Court in Pardeep Singh's case (supra).

Learned State counsel, who on advance notice is present in Court, submits that the case of the petitioner would be re-considered in the ANJU GOEL 2023.12.01 16:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
