RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court praying for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to enquire the matter deeply and take action against respondents No.5 to 8 who have caused huge financial loss to the public exchequer by registering the sale deeds at lower rate by concealing the nature of the property and for developing unauthorised colony without getting the requisite permission from the competent authority in connivance with each other.

It has been contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has already filed a representation, dated 16.08.2023 before respondent No.3, however, no action has been taken on the same till date. Notice of motion to official respondents only at this stage. On asking of the Court, Ms.Akshita Chauhan, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State.

After hearing counsel for the parties and going through the facts MEENU 2023.10.18 15:13 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CWP-23543-2023 -2and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3, i.e. Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar, to decide the representation, dated 16.08.2023, Annexure P-4, expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
