This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.2 to 4 to take action against the private respondents who are indulged in illegal and unauthorized transportation of irrigation water from Outlet No.64522-R of Daulatpura Minor Canal, Diwan Khera, Tehsil Abohar, District Fazilka across the Governmental passage path to the land of the petitioner and others without any permission/approval and causing damage to it.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned department at the first instance. 3.
In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
