Through the instant criminal writ petition, as filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks issuance of directions upon the official respondents concerned, to ensure protection of his life and liberty, which is in danger at the hands of the private respondents concerned.

What surges forth from a perusal of the record available before this Court, is that, the instant petition has arisen out of a property dispute inter se a father (petitioner) and his daughter and 3 FIRs have already been got registered by the petitioner against his daughter. It further reflects from the record that, on 10.01.2024, a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court had directed the respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda, to ensure that no harm is caused to the life and liberty of DEVINDER YADAV 2024.08.12 09:07 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CRWP-10286-2023 the petitioner at the hands of the private respondents. 3.
Record also reveals that, whenever the petitioner has approached the police officials/authority concerned with any complaint, appropriate legal action has been taken on his complaints. Moreover, in the reply dated 10.05.2024, as furnished on affidavit of Rahul Bhardwaj, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Maur, District Bathinda, it has been assured that police are duty bound to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner, as and when necessity arises. 4.
In view of the above, no further order is required to be made at this stage. Consequently, the instant petition is closed. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to, in case, he apprehends any danger to his life and liberty in future, approach the appropriate authority concerned for redressal of his grievance, whereupon, the authority concerned shall evaluate the alleged threat perception and take appropriate action as per law.

Disposed of accordingly.
