Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed seeking quashing of ex-parte order dated 20.08.2019 (Annexure P1) passed by learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Phagwara. 2.

Perusal of order sheets shows that on last two dates of hearing i.e. 05.12.2022 and 16.10.2023, there was no representation on behalf of either of the parties. On the last date of hearing i.e. 16.10.2023, notice was directed to be issued to learned counsel for the petitioner for the date fixed.

In pursuance to the same, office report received reveals that learned counsel for the petitioner has been informed through e-mail about the date fixed. However, even today, no one has put in appearance on behalf of the parties. It appears that neither the parties nor their counsel are interested in further pursuing the present petition. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. 4.
