The instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.195 dated 06.07.2025, registered under Sections 408 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code, at Police Station Civil Lines, Batala, Gurdaspur. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have joined the investigation and their custodial interrogation is no more required in this case.

Learned State counsel has not refuted the aforesaid assertions made by learned counsel for the petitioners and, on instructions from ASI Jaswant Singh further submits that the petitioners are not required by the police for further investigation or custodial interrogation.
