Grievance raised in this petition is that despite the petitioner having made a representation dated 14.07.2019 (P.3) addressed to respondent No.3 for taking action against the assailants, who inflicted injuries on his son, nothing has been done.

Learned counsel states that son of the petitioner was kidnapped so as to make a false cross case against the complainant in FIR (Annexure P.1). He prays that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to file fresh representation to respondent No.2-Sr. Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran. Petitioner may do so within two weeks.

Without in any way commenting upon the merits of the case or opining on the veracity of the allegations contained in the representation, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to look into the said representation and take appropriate action as may be warranted in law.
