The present petition has been filed to challenge the judgment of conviction, and order of sentence dated 17.8.2016, passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bathinda, in case FIR No. 706 dated 6.12.2005, under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC, Police Station Kotwali, Bathinda, and also judgment dated 13.9.2019 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bathinda, whereby, the case was remanded back to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bathinda, for framing proper charges. 2.

Today, the learned State counsel has filed status report by way of affidavit of Sh. Saravjeet Singh Brar, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, City-2, Bathinda, and the same is taken on record.

The status report reflects that after remanding of the matter, the learned trial court concerned has framed fresh charges, and thereupon, passed judgment dated 1.11.2022, and convicted present petitioner no. 1, and acquitted petitioner no. 2. 4.

In view of the supervening events, the present petition has been rendered infructuous.
