The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of selection of last selected candidate as Assistant Financial Officer under EWS category. 2.

The petitioner pursuant to advertisement No.5 dated 17.08.2021 applied for the post of Assistant Financial Officer. He belongs to EWS category and accordingly, he applied under EWS category. There were 70 seats for the said category.

Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has applied under EWS category and in the said category, cut off was 203 marks whereas he has secured 187 marks. Apart from the said fact, the experience of petitioner has not been accepted by the competent authority. 4.
