The instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.114 dated 20.07.2025 registered under Section 21 of NDPS Act (Section 29of NDPS Act added later on vide DDR No.27 dated 20.07.2025), at Police Station Maur, District Bathinda.

Status report by way of an affidavit of Kuldeep Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Maur, District Bathinda, has been filed by learned State counsel and the same is taken on record. 3.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Ram Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required by the police for further investigation or custodial interrogation.
