This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the official respondents to effect the recovery from respondent No.5 (Varinder Singh) for causing loss to the Gram Panchayat by selling the soil from the Shamlat land as per letter dated 27.04.2017 (Annexure P-1). 2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to the petitioner to pursue his remedies before the concerned department. 3.

In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
