Petitioner has filed the instant Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of directions to respondents No.1 and 2 to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of parole which is pending since 18.07.2023 and to grant him parole under Section 3 of the Punjab Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1962 to meet his family members.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has rendered infructuous and seeks permission to withdraw the same.
