Relevant para thereof reads as under :

That in pursuance of order dated 18.10.2023 passed by this Hon'ble court, it is submitted that an inquiry was conducted by ASI Amit Kumar. During the inquiry, on 17.10.2023, ASI Amit Kumar visited the village Jaswanti and inquired about the matter. During inquiry on 17.10.2023 the statement of respondents no. 4 and 5 were recorded who stated that both the petitioners are themselves responsible for their lives. They and their family members will not interfere in the personal life of petitioners, in any manner. They have also no objection if the petitioners live in a relationship. The statement of respondent no. 4 is annexed as Annexure-R-1, statement of respondent no. 5 is annexed as Annexure-R-2. During the inquiry statement of respondent no. 6 was also recorded. He also stated in his Deepak Kumar 2023.12.20 09:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRWP-10266-2023 -22023:PHHC:163130 statement that the petitioners are major and understand their good and bad. He and his family members have no objection if the petitioners live in a relationship. Therefore during inquiry no threat perception was found to the life of petitioners from the respondents and other family members. The statement of respondent no. 6 is annexed as Annexure-R-3 for kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court. The report of the inquiry officer is annexed as Annexure-R-4 and the report of SHO is annexed as AnnexureR-5 for kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court." 3.
State Counsel further submits that in FIR No.250 dated 09.08.2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 366/380 IPC at Police Station Sadar Kaithal, cancellation report has been prepared and the same shall be filed in due course of time. 4.
In view of the statements placed on record along with status report, nothing remains to be adjudicated at the hands of this Court in the present matter.

Consequently, the instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
