**** ANOOP CHITKARA, J. (Oral) Feeling aggrieved from rejection of his permission to go abroad, the petitioner, who is a citizen of UK, has come up before this Court on the ground of his age and that he being a citizen of UK, cannot remain in India for more than 180 days.

State's objection is that in case the petitioner leaves India, then it shall delay the trial.

In the facts and circumstances peculiar to this case, this Court directs the trial Court to expedite the trial and statements of witnesses be recorded on or before 28.2.2023 positively, in any case, not later than 31.3.2023. Counsel for the petitioner is satisfied with aforesaid direction. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of. Liberty is reserved to the petitioner to approach this Court again in case need arises. The petitioner to supply a copy of this order to the trial Court.
