In the present petition, the prayer of the petitioner is that petitioner has fulfilled all the requisite requirements for his promotion to the post of Deputy Director in the Department of Industries and Commerce whereas, his juniors have been promoted by ignoring the claim of the petitioner which is totally arbitrary. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays that respondents be directed to re-consider the claim of the petitioner and the petitioner be promoted to the post of Deputy Director from the date when his juniors were promoted. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has already raised the said grievance before the respondents by filing various representations copy of which have been appended with the petition as Annexures P-4 to P-10, but the same are still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the representation dated 02.06.2023 (Annexure P-10) by passing an RIYA 2023.10.20 15:02 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Mr. Saurabh Mohunta, DAG, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of State of Haryana- respondents and submits that in case, the representation dated 02.06.2023 (Annexure P10) has been received in the office of the concerned authorities and the same is still pending consideration with the authorities concerned, the same will be decided by the competent authority within a period of eight weeks of the receipt of certified copy of this order by passing an appropriate speaking order and in case, after the decision, the petitioner is found entitled for any benefit, the same will be extended to him within a further period of four weeks.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 7.

Ordered accordingly.

It may be noticed that in case any employee is likely to be effected by the decision of the said representation filed by the petitioner, all the official concerned will also be heard while deciding the said representation, so that, no prejudice is caused to any official concerned .
