Learned counsel are ad idem that the petitioner-tenant may be granted one year's time to vacate the premises and that all arrears of rent upto June 2024 have been deposited. Counsel are also ad idem that from 01.07.2024 rent @ Rs.5,000/- per month would be paid by the petitionertenant to the respondent-landlord. It is further agreed that the petitionertenant shall hand over the peaceful vacant possession of the demised shop to the respondent-landlord on or before 15.05.2025. The statements of the petitioner-tenant - Som Lal - and respondent No.1-landlady - Sarabjit Kaur - have been recorded separately today. Learned counsel are also agreeable that the rent would be deposited by the petitioner-tenant in the account of the respondent-landlady directly and that the details of the account would be handed over to the counsel for the petitioner-tenant during the course of the day.

In view of the statements made by learned counsel and statements made by the parties, which have been recorded separately, the present petition is disposed off with a direction that the petitioner-tenant shall hand over peaceful vacant possession of the demised shop to the respondent-landlady by 15.05.2025 and from 01.07.2024 onwards he shall deposit rent @ Rs.5,000/- per month in the bank account of the respondentlandlady by way of RTGS till he hands over vacant possession. Present petition stands disposed off. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
