Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been separated and petitioner No. 2 has gone back to the house of her parents and hence, he prays for withdrawal of the present petition, as there is no threat perception.

In light of the above, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn, with a direction to the respondent-Authorities to proceed in accordance with law against petitioner No. 1, as admittedly, the petitioner No. 2 was a minor girl and petitioner No. 1 is absconding from the process of law.

It is made clear that filing or pendency of this petition or any order/direction passed in this petition shall not be an alibi or defence to the petitioners and shall not be an impediment upon the State Authorities to proceed in accordance with law against the petitioner No. 1, in case, any legal proceedings have been initiated against him.
