Present petition has been filed praying for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family at the hands of private persons.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner the for protection of her life and liberty, the petitioner has already filed a complaint (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.3-SHO, Police Station Sector 36, Chandigarh, on 08.07.2024 but till date no action has been taken on the same.

Notice of motion to respondents.

On asking of the Court, Mr.Anupam Bansal, Addl.P.P.,UT, Chandigarh, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/UT and submits that necessary action has already been taken on the complaint filed by the petitioner and thus no cause of action survives in MEENU 2024.10.15 12:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document the present petition and the same may be disposed of as such.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties and in view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to avail her remedy, if any cause of action accrues, in accordance with law.
