(ORAL) This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to the official respondents to give 15 days' notice under Section 160 Cr.P.C. to the petitioners, if they are required in any case. As per the reply filed by way of an affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarter), Rupnagar, District Rupnagar, FIR No. 214 dated 1.11.2014 under Section 420 IPC was lodged against respondent No. 4 on the complaint of petitioner No. 2 and after enquiry, it was found that the said FIR has been wrongly lodged against respondent No. 4 and supplementary challan was required to be presented against the petitioners and Rajinder Kaur under Sections 420 and 406 IPC. It is further stated that the investigating officer went to the house of petitioner No. 2 to apprehend him, but he along with his family members had attacked upon the GURPREET SINGH 2020.02.06 10:14 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh investigating officer and fled the spot and accordingly, FIR No. 65

CRM-M No. 27772 of 2017 (O&M) -2dated 27.6.2017 under Sections 353, 186, 332, 148, 149 IPC was lodged against petitioner No. 2 and, thus, petitioner No. 2 is required in two cases whereas petitioner No. 1 is required in FIR No. 214 dated 1.11.2014. Learned State counsel submits that during the pendency of FIR No. 214 dated 1.11.2014, the enquiry was conducted after presentation of challan and the petitioners were arraigned as accused in the said FIR and ultimately respondent No. 4 has been acquitted. Keeping in view the above, no directions are required to be given.

The petition is dismissed.
