The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in respect of aforementioned FIR.

The allegations in nutshell are that the petitioner while being posted as IT Instructor on contractual basis in the office of District Information and Public Relation Officer, Sirsa had posted outrageous comments on social media against the Prime Minister of India and the Chief Minister of Haryana so as to hurt the sentiments of general public. 3.

Vide order dated 18.10.2023, the petitioner was granted interim bail and was directed to join investigation.

Pursuant to a query made by this Court, learned State counsel has informed that the services of the petitioner have since been terminated. Learned State counsel upon instructions has informed that pursuant to interim directions issued by this Court, the petitioner has since joined investigation and is not required for any custodial interrogation and that he is not wanted in any other case.

Having regard to the aforestated position, wherein the petitioner is stated to have joined investigation and is not required for any custodial interrogation and otherwise has a clean record, the petition is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order dated 18.10.2023 are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner shall join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C. 29.02.2024 (GURVINDER SINGH GILL) Vimal JUDGE Whether speaking/reasoned: Yes/No Whether reportable:
