Instant petition, under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, has been filed for quashing of FIR No. 115, dated 29.03.2018 (Annexure P-1), under Section 379 IPC, registered at Police Station Dadri City, District Charkhi Dadri, and subsequent proceedings thereof, qua the petitioners. 2.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submits that the trial in the present case is at the stage of recording of statements of the prosecution witnesses and many of the witnesses have already been examined.

Further submits that the petitioners are interested in early disposal of the criminal case in the aforementioned FIR, because they are facing the trial for the last more than seven years, causing them lot of harassment. At this stage, the petitioners would be satisfied if appropriate direction is issued to the learned Trial Court for early disposal of the trial, and, thus, on that basis seeks withdrawal of the present petition. Considering the prayer made, present petition is allowed to be withdrawn. Learned Trial Court is directed to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible.
