The present petition has been filed for directions to the respondents to restrain themselves from harassing, intimidating and conducting illegal raids into the petitioner's house. 2.
Notice of motion to the respondents.

Since advance notice has already been served upon the State, Mr. Eklavya Darshi, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and waives service. 4.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the in the case arising out of FIR No. 127 dated 15.08.2025, Police Station Passiana, District Patiala, instead of following due process of law, the police authorities have been harassing and intimidating the petitioner, viz-a-viz her relatives. According to him, during the night hours on 22.08.2025, the police officials forcibly broke open the locks of the petitioner's house without any DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2025.08.29 16:45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document warrants. There is a consistent threat by the police that the petitioner viz-a-
Criminal Writ Petition No. 9284 of 2025 viz her family members would be implicated in false cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 5.
The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that due to constant threats from the police authorities, the petitioner along with her family members has to leave the house. The petitioner has sent legal notice dated 22.08.2025 (Annexure P3) to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, but no action has been taken thereupon as yet. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that a direction for disposing of legal notice (Annexure P3) be given to the concerned authorities and the instant writ petition be disposed of.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.3 to pass a speaking order and decide the legal notice sent by the petitioner (Annexure P3), as per law, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

It is, however, made clear that no finding with regard to merits of the allegations is being recorded vide instant order, and the police authorities shall be at liberty to take an independent decision with regard to contents of the legal notice.
