**** AMIT RAWAL, J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking indulgence of this Court for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents for giving promotion to the petitioner from the rank of Sub-Inspector to the rank of Inspector w.e.f. 07.02.2019 as petitioner is fully eligible and entitled for promotion. In this regard, had submitted representations dated 08.08.2019 & 13.09.2019 (Annexures P-18 & P-21), but there is no adherence thereto. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.1-Additional Chief Secretary, Govt. of Haryana, Home Department, Haryana, to consider the representations dated 08.08.2019 & 13.09.2019 (Annexures P-18 & P-21), within a stipulated period.

Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent No.1, to consider the

This condition of imposing costs is only to prevent petitioner to run from pillar to post and avail remedy of contempt in case of noncompliance of directions issued by this Court.
