The petitioner prays for setting-aside the judgment dated 30.07.2015, vide which he was convicted by learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Fazilka under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and was sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 01 year and to pay a fine of Rs.6000/- along with default mechanism, vide order of sentence of even date, as well as the judgment dated 01.09.2017, passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fazilka dismissing the appeal preferred by the petitioner against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 30.07.2015. 2.

The case has been called twice since morning and despite that there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that neither the petitioner nor his counsel is interested in pursuing the present petition.
