Coram:
Hon'ble Mr. Justice Inderjit Singh .....
Present:
Mr. G.S. Dhaliwal, Advocate for the petitioners. .....
Inderjit Singh, J.
The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.141 dated 27.7.2018 (Annexure.P.1) registered for the offence under Section 379-B IPC at Police Station Division No.4 Jalandhar, District Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar and the consequent proceedings thereof on the basis of compromise dated 06.12.2018 (Annexure-P.2).
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and have gone through the record.
The FIR in the present case has been recorded on the statement of Pankaj Kumar, who stated that on 27.7.2018 at about 8.30 at night after completing his work he was going towards his residence Pishori Mohalla on foot. In the meantime, two youngmen aged about 20/25 years came on the HARPAL SINGH PARMAR 2018.12.17 16:03 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Keeping in view the nature and gravity of the offence, I do not find it a fit case where the FIR should be quashed on the basis of compromise.
Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
