The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 12.12.2024 passed by this Court in CWP-22966-2019, whereby respondent was directed to pass appropriate order.

In compliance of the order dated 12.12.2024 passed by this Court in CWP-22966-2019, compliance report by way of affidavit dated 11.12.2025 of Sh. Manvesh Singh Sidhu, Secretary Labour Department, Punjab, has been filed on behalf of the respondent before the Registry. The same is taken on record.

Today learned counsel for the respondents has produced another VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2026.03.11 19:23 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP-4323-2025 (O&M) -2compliance report by way of affidavit dated 08.03.2026 of Manvesh Singh Sidhu, Secretary Labour Department, Government of Punjab, which is taken on record. In paragraph 5 of the said report, it has been stated that amount has already been paid to the petitioner.

A bare reading of paragraphs 5 and 6 of the latest report dated 08.03.2026 shows that order dated 12.12.2024 passed by this Court in CWP22966-2019 has been complied with. 5.

In view of the above, since order dated 12.12.2024 passed by this Court in CWP-22966-2019, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 6.

Liberty is however granted to the petitioner to pursue with the medical reimbursement bills with the concerned department. 7.
