(ORAL) Prayer in this 1st petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of Anticipatory Bail to the petitioner in the event of arrest in case F.I.R No. 126 dated 15.09.2023, under Sections 498-A and 323 IPC 1860 registered at Police Station City Dhuri, District Sangrur (Annexure P-1). Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Malkit Singh, informs this Court that pursuant to order dated 18.10.2023 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, whereby the petitioner was granted interim bail, the petitioner has joined investigation on 04.11.2023; and challan has been presented on 19.12.2023. It is further pointed out that as has been stated in para 4 of the status report dated 15.07.

2024 filed by way of an affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Dhuri, District Sangrur on behalf of State of Punjab, that after joining the investigation, the petitioner has absented himself from the proceedings before the learned trial Court on 15.01.2024, whereupon notice was issued to him by the learned trial Court for 19.02.2024. Subsequently, bailable DIVYANSHI 2024.09.

CRM-M-53137-2023 (O&M) -2 - warrants have been issued against the petitioner for 20.04.2024; consequent to which, the petitioner came present before the learned trial Court on 20.04.2024. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that thereafter the petitioner has been appearing regularly before the learned trial Court.

In view of the above, no further directions are required to be issued in the present matter.

The present petition stands disposed of.
