Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 482 of the B.N.S.S., 2023, the petitioner seeks the concession of anticipatory bail, in case FIR No.31 dated 30.07.2024, under Sections 331(6), 115(2), 324(4), 191(3), 190 of the B.N.S., 2023, registered at P.S. Amir Khas, District Fazilka.

The learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia submits that, although the petitioner is alleged to have given two blows with the reverse side of "gandasi" on the right bicep and right elbow of the complainant, however, the nature of injury(ies) is yet to be ascertained. He further submits that,
since petitioner is on a co-equal pedestal as his co-accused Satnam Singh, who has already been granted interim bail by this Court, vide order dated 04.10.2024, drawn upon CRMM-50101-2024, therefore, he deserves an alike relief.

4. Mr. Pardeep Bajaj, D.A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State of Punjab.
5. In the meantime, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation and to appear before the investigating agency, as and when called upon to do so. In the event of his arrest, he shall be admitted to interim bail on his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S., 2023.
