RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioners have approached this Court praying for issuance of direction to respondent No.3 to decide the representation, Annexure P-9, vide which the petitioners, after passing the resolution, requested the official respondents to declare their village as Nagar Panchayat and to implement the Notification, dated 07.05.2013 and decide their representation, dated 08.11.2023, Annexure P-9, expeditiously.
It is further prayed to direct the respondents not to conduct the Gram Panchayat election till the declaration of the Gram Panchayat village Doda as Nagar Panchayat. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that for redressal of their grievances, the petitioners have already given a representation before respondent No.1 on 08.11.2023, but the same has not been decided as yet.
